The stronger side wins, as a rule, with an active king and the knight against the two backward pawns. But the path to victory is by no means simple since often the slightest nuances decide the outcome of the game. A case where Black threatens a counter-attack on the pawn occurred in the ending stage of the game Shishkov – Uzsoki, Hungary, 1972.
