3.7.5. Isolated Passed Pawns
In endings of knight and two passed pawns against knight and one passed pawn, the weaker side has drawing chances only if the king can block one and the knight the other pawn provided that its passed pawn can overstretch the enemy pieces thus forcing a saving reduction of material. Such a case is illustrated by the ending of the game Savchenko – A. Moroz, Enakijevo, 1997.
