After introductory instructions in examples 189 and 190 it is easy to understand the attacker’s strategy and the plan of defence in some general position. Although the black king is not endangered in the opposite corner, it is important to know that the rook is not able to break through the bishop’s defence and force the opponent’s king to the edge of the board. Not only that White to move cannot win, but also he cannot get a “chance” by pushing the king.
