White pieces are ideally placed. The rook on d4 controls the whole board and also the king has a free path via f3 and e4 to the queen side. At the same time Black only has problems. The king is, at the moment, too far away and another problem is his pawn structure on the kingside. It would be far better to have pawns in “chain” f7-g6-h5. This was rapid game and it’s clear that the chances of mistake are much bigger than in the long game.
